Lim Leong Seong

Sculptors in bronze

Leong Seng was a member of the Singapore Public Sculpture Advisory Panel ( 2004) and also
served as the Chairman of Modern Art Society (2000-2001) & Telok Kurau Studios Management
Committee ( 2007-08,2010 ). A full time sculptor and painter, Leong Seng has participated in
many local and overseas exhibitions since 1969. To date, he has held 8 solo exhibitions. He
receives many awards including the Grand Prize in MCI Art Competition in 1990, Second Prize
in REDAS Building Sculpture Competition (International) in 1993, and the 1997 Jurors’ Choice in
Philip Morris Group of Companies Singapore Art Awards. He has completed numerous
sculptures commissioned works in Singapore.
