Ch'ng Huck Theng

Sculptor in bronze

Entering his 25 years in art, Ch'ng Huck Theng's successful career as an artist and a sculptor in both local and international scenes have been growing from strength to strength. Born 1972, Ch'ng picked up his artistic skill whilst furthering his studies in Australia in 1991-95. From thereon he has travelled extensively on his own artistic journey, drawing inspiration from his acute observations of the correlation between man, nature and society.

Since 2016, Ch'ng has held an international tour for his bronze sculpture solo exhibition with first stop Melbourne (2016) then Kuala Lumpur (2017) followed by Penang (2018) and now Singapore. Incidentally it was in Singapore that Ch'ng's bronze sculpture 'Anak Malaysia' was first showcased in the public in 2012. The unique bronze set was later hammered off with an impressive result by 33 Auction. Not only is his works collected by private collectors around the world but also by respected institutions that include the Central Academy of Fine Art Beijing, National Visual Art Gallery Malaysia, Singapore Art Museum, Hong Kong University Museum & Gallery, Shanghai Art Museum and Ecole National Supérieure des Beaux-Arts (ENSBA) in Paris.

Lim Leong Seong

Leong Seng was a member of the Singapore Public Sculpture Advisory Panel ( 2004) and also
served as the Chairman of Modern Art Society (2000-2001) & Telok Kurau Studios Management
Committee ( 2007-08,2010 ). A full time sculptor and painter, Leong Seng has participated in
many local and overseas exhibitions since 1969. To date, he has held 8 solo exhibitions. He
receives many awards including the Grand Prize in MCI Art Competition in 1990, Second Prize
in REDAS Building Sculpture Competition (International) in 1993, and the 1997 Jurors’ Choice in
Philip Morris Group of Companies Singapore Art Awards. He has completed numerous
sculptures commissioned works in Singapore.

Nizam Abdullah

Sculptors in metal

As an artist, Nizam work are mainly in metal and the exploration of its finishing by manipulating metal in a form of art language. He also works in other form of medium in producing his artwork, he believes an artist needs to be versatile in creating art works and to explore all forms of media sources in different aspects.
